When the battery is about to run out, the vehicle goes near the station, where in a sort of pit stop the exhausted battery is replaced with a charged one. In this way, OmniAGV is immediately available and operational again within the facility.

The station was designed to be scaled in height and thus add the desired number of battery charging stations in the warehouse.

The cost-effectiveness of the battery charging and replacement station favors its multiple location in large facilities, minimizing the number of empty runs that the vehicle needs to drive to the nearest replacement station.
